Online Textbook Access

Are you at home and missing course reserve books that you rely on? Some publishers are offering online access to their course books to law students who need remote access.

We've gone through and determined what books are available online from our course reserve collection published by West Academic and Wolters Kluwer.  Find if your course reserve is available online with our List of Textbooks Available Online spreadsheet.    Instructions are below on how to access textbooks for each specific publisher.

West Academic/ Foundation Press

To request access, call to speak with a customer service representative at (860) 888-1330 for help getting access to the eBooks you need for your classes. Note that West Academic will only provide digital access to books that are required for class but you do not currently have physical access to.

Wolters Kluwer
Create an online VitalSource account:

Visit bookshelf.vitalsource.com and log in or create a new account using your BC email address. Instructions to make a new account (for students or instructors) are available if you need assistance in creating an account.

Log in and click on the "Explore" tab in the upper left corner of the screen, which will take you to the freely available e-textbooks.
